How hard is it to get your hubby to listen to you?

my hubby ( love him to death) is a natural at tuning in and out on anyone when they talk. if he don't want to hear it he wont listen. lol. i asked him to do something about 5 times before i went to bed and made sure he heard me by making him repeat it, i said have it done before you go to bed. the next morning i get up and he has not got the task done. i asked him why when he got home and he said he forgot. geez such a guy. i and his parents before we got married have had this problem with him since we can remember. so do any of you ladys have the same problem? and i don't really need advice i don't think anything will really help, i told him im going to have to start dragging him by the ear to do stuff. lol. can you relate?
