Looking for a movie name?

Im looking for a movie name that i believe was made in either early to mid 80's. basically all i can remember of it is that this guy goes to a blue oyster cult concert and during the concert he gets hit in the eye by one of the lasers at the concert. From that point on, he sees a big eyeball chasing him. If anyone can help that would be great. I do believe that the main actor in this movie also played in point break as one of the stoners getting high under the blanket. Please help!
