When getting a home loan,how many years do you normal owe?

I know nothing about home buying. we make 30,000 and im trying to find out what our home price range is,lowest monthy payments,what our lowest downpament can be, what to do if we have bad credit can we still get a loan with a co-signer? let me know some price ranges for me,
